Building on a successful pilot program in 2023, UTas has partnered with FermentHQ and the Chartered Institute of Brewers and Distillers (CIBD) to pilot this tailored short course, designed for individuals to further develop their skills, knowledge, and connections in the Tasmanian brewing sector.
This offering includes access to our 60-hour short course, as well as full access to CIBD’s 80-hour General Certificate of Brewing Course, with the opportunity to attain certification upon completion of the CIBD exam (inclusive of price).
This is your opportunity to unpack the brewing process and underlying brewery operations, and upskill in industry relevant topics, including: health and safety, hygiene, engineering, and environmental management. This course will also provide you with an engaging introduction to the science behind craft brewing, to help ensure you achieve quality and consistency in your product.
